By installing, accessing, or using ForthWrite (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Aesir Labs, LLC d/b/a ForthWrite(“we,” “our,” or “us”). You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service or to opt in to the Consulting SMS Program.
ForthWrite is an AI-powered email drafting tool available as a Chrome browser extension and web application. It generates reply drafts for email threads using third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and others), either through your own API key or through our managed proxy.
You may use the Chrome extension without creating an account. A forthwrite.ai account is required for paid subscriptions and certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys.
On a Teams plan, the account that owns the team and any administrator it appoints can open a review record covering every accepted member of that team. For messages ForthWrite drafted, that record includes the inbound message a member replied to, the draft ForthWrite produced, any revisions the member requested along with the instruction they typed, the version the member sent, and which model produced the draft. It can be filtered by member and exported.
This is message content rather than usage statistics. If you join a team, the owner and administrators of that team can read the text of messages you drafted and sent through ForthWrite. If you invite someone to your team, you are responsible for telling them so, and for any notice or consent your own obligations to your clients require. We do not give legal advice about those obligations.
The review record covers only messages drafted through ForthWrite. It is not a mail archive, it does not hold your mailbox, and it has no visibility into work done in other tools. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored and for how long.
On a Teams plan, voice-matching capture is required on seats by default so the review record has something to show. A team owner or admin can turn that requirement off. The seat holder cannot. While that requirement is on, the seat holder cannot delete captured samples. Turning the requirement off does not switch anyone's capture off by itself. A Teams seat cannot delete their ForthWrite account from Settings. A team owner or admin can request deletion of their own account. The seat can ask an owner or admin to release them from the team.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your billing portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for annual plans cancelled within 14 days of purchase.

If you enter a mobile number on our consulting booking form, you agree to receive appointment confirmations and reminders at that number. Marketing texts about the consulting offer you asked for require a separate, optional, unchecked box on that form. The marketing box is not required to book a consultation. You must be 18 years of age or older to receive these texts.
Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your mobile number and messaging consent.
When using the BYOK option, you are responsible for compliance with your AI provider's terms of service and usage policies. We are not responsible for costs incurred with third-party AI providers. API keys saved through the web app are stored encrypted at rest and used only to send draft requests to the AI provider you choose. Legacy extension-only keys may remain in Chrome's local storage until you migrate them.
You retain full ownership of your email content and any drafts generated using the Service. ForthWrite retains ownership of the software, branding, and proprietary systems that power the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated drafts may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. You are responsible for reviewing all drafts before sending. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aesir Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or reputation.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
